Experimenting with the colour of footage

In response to feedback that some scenes in my music video were out of place compared to the colourful lights of the video, I experimented with different ways of introducing colours.

I wanted to introduce the protest aspect as well and decided to try overlay the suffragette banner on the mirror shots. However, I found that this was too contrasting and obscured the artists face too much as she moved and decided against it.

Instead, I adjusted the colouring of the footage to blend it with different colours throughout the video.

This allowed for the footage to fit with the rest of the video and not be too plain, whilst not detracting from the voyeurism created in these shots by hiding the artists face.
